GM is the pseudonym of a lover of books and nature enthusiast living in the south suburbs of Chicago.
Most of this site is from a semi-religious point of view, even though I don’t consider myself an orthodox Christian now. Fifteen years of church, prayer, and Bible study don’t wear off so quickly, I guess.
There are some challenging things in the blog for Christians, but it’s not meant as an indictment of the whole religion. I was myself helped by Christianity in many ways; I would not want to ruin the experience for anyone else.
That said, I wish there were more Christians interested in the environment and more secularists open to learning about the Bible; and I wish there were a larger middle ground (or more common ground) between religionists and secularists, in general.
